I own MANY Schuyler Bible’s. I preach from a Stridon and study from my Quentel. I’d been interested in the Trever’s for quite some time. This is the PERFECT daily reader. I love the size of this Bible, not too big, not too small. The best part is the verse numbers are in the margin with no cross references or footnotes. I read 11 chapters the first day I had it without even realizing I had read that much. I play to buy a KJV Treveris soon. I’d love to see a NKJV in this Bible. If you are looking for a daily reader that you can study from if need, don’t hesitate to buy this Bible.

This was my first premium bible and I couldn’t be happier with it. Everything is made so well and feels good to the touch. The design and font make the Treveris a pleasure to read and I’ve nearly doubled my daily reading since getting it. If you’re looking for a daily reader, it doesn’t get better than this one!

This is a wonderful bible. I think it is likely the best layout of the many bibles I have used. I particularly like the cleanness of the text with the verse numbers not cluttering the text. I am also a fan of the paragraph format vs verse by verse. I also have the KJV in this format and like it equally. I hope that Schuyler will offer more translations in this format. I don’t think I’ve offered a review on this site, but I have seen some less positive reviews elsewhere by others and am somewhat puzzled. Again, I hope you offer other translations in this format.

Beautiful! This is my first premium Bible and because my current Bible is so worn and falling apart, I thought it worth the investment to get one that will last. The quality is amazing and I’m 100% thrilled with everything about it. When I was young I used to admire the older men in our church and their beautiful leather bibles. I’ve always been happy with my bibles, but I never had one that reminded me of those I admired 40+ years ago. Now, at 54 I’m one of those old men with a beautiful leather bible. Thank you, it will get lots of use and I’m pleased to know it will last!

I may not show up as a verified owner because I wasn’t logged in to an account when I made my purchase, but anyway…
I can’t imagine creating a better Bible than this one. I read and watched many reviews and critiques, but I decided to get it anyway. Many of the reviewers complained about the ridges in the spine from the way the binding was done, but it must have been corrected because mine is perfect. No spine ridges, no show-through on the cover from the edge line, nothing. I can’t find any flaws.
The other complaint that I saw the most was the verse numbers being outside of the text. This hasn’t been a problem for me. It’s pretty easy to determine where a verse starts and ends because of punctuation. I get very distracted when reading, and having the verses and other notations removed from the body of the text has been great. It reads like a book. If I didn’t always succumb to drowsiness while reading, I could read this thing for hours at a time if I wanted to.
The size is perfect. I owned a Quentel at one point. I didn’t mind how big it was, but it was on the bigger side. I could tell from pictures that I wouldn’t be happy with a personal-size Quentel because of how little it looks. The Treveris is just right. I love this thing and I couldn’t imagine someone crafting a more perfect Bible, unless it were available in Slate at the time of purchase, but the black with the red liner is beautiful also.
If you’re going back and forth about this one, just pull the trigger. It really is incredible.

This is the nicest Bible I own. I have some Goatskin Pitt Minion and Clarion Bibles. This Bible just feels like luxury when it is in your hand. Very nice for reading. Clear text in a beautiful crisp size.

When I say I hemmed and hawed over purchasing the Treveris, it’s an understatement. I have had different single column layouts over the years, and was looking to once again get a dedicated reader. I watched reviews and videos and finally pulled the trigger on the black goatskin version, and it’s perfect. The craftsmanship is old world style with a full yap, drop caps, etc, and it’s execution is flawless. If you are thinking about getting one, please do. Schuyler is my new go to for bibles, the attention to the smallest detail is amazing, they are what Allan used to be circa 2007 except these guys develop their own typesetting and layouts. The new gold standard in premium Bible production!

The attention to detail is outstanding! I usually do not leave reviews (unless a product is awesome or awful), after 6 months or so of ownership I can attest to the quality and craftmanship. The pages are quite durable and I am not the least bit worried about an accidental tear. I would recommend this for preaching, teaching and for general study. Some enjoy having the references in the margins which is what some look for in a preaching, teaching or study Bible; however I enjoy the plain line by line not only for a visual aesthetic but the limited “clutter”, for me eliminates distraction. If you are using a separate concordance for an outline or notes this should not be an issue but if you enjoy writing in your bible and exploring those references it might not work well for you. The maps and three ribbons, binding are all beautiful. If I had to give one critique it would be about the fount, which is a standard size but could be just a tad larger.

This is quickly becoming my favorite Bible for daily reading and general use. The single column format without headings and verses in the text is a pleasure to read from, and I do find that it keeps me reading longer and with less pauses. However, it is great to have the verses in the margins for reference and has been key in being able to use this in church and Bible study. The cover is great (I chose black for the heavier looking grain and was not disappointed), and it is easy enough to carry around in my bag without adding much weight. Last thing, the font is beautiful and a perfect size for extended reading that is easy on the eyes. Great job Schuyler!

5th Schuyler-love the soft goatskin feel. Clean layout.
Perfect.

All I can is WOW about this Bible! It is a lovely classic Bible with the contrasting colors of black, red, and gold. The over hang of the black yap, gilt line on the red leather lining is truly a work of art.
The reader style single column without all the clutter of references is my favorite for personal reading. I had purchased the KJV and could hardly wait for the ESV version. Needless to say I was not disappointed.
Thanks Schuyler for such a beautiful Bible.

Stunningly beautiful and magnificent!! I can’t imagine the ESV in a more elegant binding or format.
