My first NIV Bible. This Bible is exceeded expectations. For the price offered here on EB, this is a great value. A few things justifying the five-star rating, for me personally: The setting and font, as well as the font color is easy to follow while reading. The paper is a great quality and not thin, very much opaque and no glare. I love translators notes at the bottom of the page which are not distracting. I like that there is not a concordance or references (just an FYI there are a few “references” when quotes from OT I have noticed in reading John). The binding feels rather ‘plush’ for the price you pay for the blue buffalo leather and raised spine hubs. The Bible comfortably held in an armchair while reading and no need to reposition to read text with the generous space from gutter to edge of inside text. The ribbons are thick and come in two colors, which complement the blue buffalo. I would be hard pressed to say I think any of my Cambridge or R.L. Allan bibles are superior at the moment. This bible will last many years of use and I expect to pass it on to my daughter when she learns to read in a few years. 100% satisfied with the item purchased and with EB’s service and shipping. I absolutely love this Bible! The buffalo leather is very different but beautiful! I love the blue/gray color along with 2 ribbons – one navy and one gold. The format is easy to read and enjoyable. It’s just perfect for me – even the size is just right!

I am very happy with this Bible. Very clean, reading with notes on bottom of page and no references to distract the flow of verses. Verse by verse format. Gold letters with book name, and chapters(combo)versus in upper outside margins, and subheadings also and gold letters. After reading mixed reviews on the transition from double column to single column format, I decided to give it a try. For the price it’s a great value. The blue buffalo leather is not floppy, but flexible with edge lined leather linings, perimeter stitching, and gold foil Gilt lines around perimeter of liners. A lot for the money especially EB prices. Happy camper. Recommended NIV Bible.

This is a beautiful bible. I love the blue buffalo leather. It is really nice quality and is almost a blue, gray color. This bible is the perfect size to take to church, take in a car, study at home, etc. I also love the layout of this bible, reading prose in single column format and poetry in double column format in a mixture throughout. This makes it highly readable and easy on the eyes. The text of this bible is done in a dark blue color and has gold letter headings. It also has a larger 10 point font size, which makes it very easy to read. I am very happy I purchased it. I recommend that you look at pictures and videos of this bible online before purchasing to make sure this is the Bible for you. Some people like the mixture of single column and double column together on one page and some don’t. I also give 5 stars to the customer service ladies who answered all of my questions and provided me with the information I needed to make my purchase. This was my second purchase from Evangelicalbible.com and I will definitely be purchasing from this company again.
