Description

Pictures of Cambridge Wide Margin Bibles.

A Cambridge special edition of the New King James Version, with wide margins and extra study features in a fine goatskin leather binding, edge-lined for extra suppleness. The NKJV Wide-Margin Reference Edition is based on Cambridge’s NKJV Pitt Minion Reference Edition. It has the same layout and pagination, but the text is enlarged and has generous wide margins for the reader’s own insights and notes. Another difference is the concordance, which is much more extensive. The Bible is printed on slightly thicker paper for enhanced durability, and as in all Cambridge Bibles, the pages are sewn for long life and so that they lie flat when the book is open. This edition features red-letter text for the words of Christ, full cross-references, extra ruled pages for notes and 15 maps. Bound in supple black goatskin (real Morocco) leather, it has two ribbon markers, a presentation page and art-gilt (red-under-gold) page edges.

  • top-quality goatskin leather binding
  • wide margins for note-making
  • concordance and maps
  • ruled notepaper
  • Dimensions: 254 x 208 x 41 mm

  1. David Nathan

An almost brilliant Bible with one glaring short coming, extremely small print which is difficult to read or use for a pulpit ministry

  2. Joseph

This is the BEST quality bible I have ever seen. The leather is beautiful, great wide margins I can place sticky notes on, high quality paper. Great reading font, almost no ghosting. easy to read. It’s such a classy looking bible. Absolutely beautiful. The photo does not show how sweet this Bible is. It’s the corvette of Bibles.

Need to redo this one with a larger print. Very hard to read

  4. John M II

Disappointed. I have the kjv wide margin by Cambridge and thought the nkjv would be comparable. Unfortunately it is not. The print is way too small (and I have 20/20 vision), the reference letters that are strewn throughout the text are almost the same size as the text itself. This is not suitable for preaching. The kjv has perimeter stitching around the outside cover, but the nkjv does not (though it is just as expensive). The kjv has several pages of lined paper at the back, but the nkjv does not. The margins are not as wide as the kjv. Cambridge desperately needs to redo their nkjv wide margin, and bring it up to the same quality as their kjv offering. If they did, I would not hesitate to buy it. However I was very disappointed with the current nkjv offering and so I sent it back. I really hope that they will redo it in the future!

Great bible BUT be ready for very small print. I am returning mine for this reason.

  6. Robert Richardson

Excellent Bible……Red-Letter print is very readable……a typical supremely limp Cambridge Goatskin binding…..EXCELLENT!!!

This is a very nice Bible. Mine just arrived, one week after ordering. Very soft. All kinds of room for notes. Kind of wanted a black letter (unavailable) but the red letter is good quality, and not distracting. The art-gilt pages actually in my opinion help to ease any distraction. Kind of gives the bible a frame of red as you look at it, like ambient light. Maybe corny, but as I said, I was worried about the red-letter. Seen it done wrong before, but not here. Better printers. I can tell. Used to be a printer. Needless to say, very soft. Wish it was in verse format, but that just takes time to get used to and I know I’m in the minority by far. Thanks for a great bible.
