I picked the NKJV up in either 2016 or 2018 and while I really like the Text I really have to refer back to the original KJV for Healing Scripture based solely on the correct and forcefully way it is read and laid out just my personal belief. But back to the build quality the leather of the goatskin is exceptional from the feel to the way the inside corners are done and I must say Schuyler and Allan could take a few tips from the correct and evenly way it should be done I must say. I have may high end bibles that I am truly disappointed in the build quality and back then I paid 114.00 or 116.00 no tax free ship and not nearly 300.00 so the way I looked at it I can be disappointed on a cheaper scale ya know what I mean, but in this case it was a win win from the large print to the 36 GSM paper nice spacing beautiful Nelson Maps and my favorite Red lettering an easy to look at shade I might add. I do have a couple of gripes about the excess glue on the head and tail band and in Mark there looks to be like they had somthing about a quarter of an inch laying diagonally across the page when they were constructing it and it left a sort of mimic crease in about eight or nine pages but for how I am going to use the Bible it’s no big deal I am very happy over all and do wish it was made in the USA but it is what it is because I would have paid a lot more for such a very small piece of leather you know what I am getting at. A+ though for a working hard Bible Praise the Lord.

Bought this Bible some time back. Very nice and readable, but I was disappointed to read on the copyright page that it was printed in China. I guess I should have assumed so based on the favorable price. Were it printed in the USA or Europe, I would be much happier. I have a real issue with goods coming out of China, especially Bibles. I like the NKJV but will likely donate this China produced product and replace it with either a Schuyler or Cambridge.

Been using this Bible for the last twelve months and it’s been an absolute workhorse. Leather holds up well and has decent wide margins. The only issue I had was the size – it’s huge. Other than that, I’ll probably buy this Bible again in the future.

This is a great Bible at this price level. Easy to read and cover is a little floppy, but probably is a plus for many readers. Great value for a verse by verse NKJV.

I purchased this Bible because I have been considering going back to the Received Text after using and preaching from the ESV for over a decade now. I wanted a good quality Bible but wasn’t ready to go all in for a Schuyler NKJV just yet. I gave this one a try and I am so glad I did. The leather is great and very flexible. Lays flat out of the box. The paper is top notch. Three long ribbons and the font size is great. I love that the verse numbers are in red as it makes it very easy to find your place when preaching. If you’re looking for a quality Bible that’s well under the price you’ll pay for most, grab this one!

I love this bible SO MUCH I just ordered a second one. A premium bible at this price point is a no-brainer. The first one I ordered arrived in PERFECT condition and remains so after weeks and weeks of use. THANK YOU for this one, EB!

This is my eighth NKJV Bible in the Thomas Nelson Premier Collection and this one is likely my favorite. The leather is top-notch and the font size is perfect for me since I have trouble with small letters. The NKJV is the best modern translation available in English, and you need this one if you’re looking for a premium Bible. This Bible will be my primary Bible moving forward (and I collect Schuyler, Allan, Cambridge, etc.). Also, big thank you for evangelicalbible.com in handling the winter storm-shutdown shipping issues. Your customs service is the best in the business as well. So grateful for each of you!

I’m quite pleased with my NKJV verse-by-verse Bible. At this price point, this Bible is a great value. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the VBV format.

The paper and font are great with this Bible. The leather is soft and it lends to an extremely “floppy” Bible. This is a negative to me because you can’t hold it in your hand very easily. This may not matter to some.

PLB – Once again, Evangelical Bible will need to fill in the quality gap and produce a verse by verse NKJV, both wide-margin and standard margin. I’m sure the quality would Certainly be there. What is mind boggling to me is, no one is filling this space in the market – not sure why.

I really thought that I’d like this one because it is VBV, and the few reviews I saw looked promising. But during the 2nd day of reading the goatskin tore near the spine. The cover is so loosely fastened to the spine that it takes un- necessary stress. Once the leather tore I inspected it closer and it looked like it had paper fibers in it. That was interesting. It also smelled like the leather was dyed with a cheap chemical dye. The text block is decent and I really like the layout, but this bible just isn’t right from a construction standpoint (IMHO). It doesn’t feel good in the hand because it moves all over the place. The ribbon placement is peculiar in my copy as well, all seemingly angled in strange directions. The price was pretty good here at EB, but I won’t be using this one.

This excellent verse by verse NKJV is so needed in the marketplace. All printed versions seem to have gone to a paragraph style, and while that is evidently good for reading, it is not good for preaching. Many thanks to Nelson for putting this quality bible out there for purchase. I have been waiting for such a bible for many years and will love this bible for the rest of my days – very thankful!
