This is still probably my favorite NKJV Bible on the market. There’s one small feature that bothers me but we’ll get to that. The brown goatskin is slightly stiff but very pliable, making it easy to hold with one hand. The five raised spine hubs add great asthmatic beauty to the exterior. It’s a chunky little volume but the page size is small enough that it’s really nice to use.

The 36 gsm paper is easy to turn and has very little ghosting. The single column text is narrow which makes it easy to follow when reading. The references are in the margins which is my only complaint about this Bible. I wish they were in the gutter. Sometimes the text seems to run into the gutter but overall it’s more a matter of personal preference.

I have both the brown goatskin and blue genuine leather editions and love them. It is a great Bible for reading and I know some who preach with it as well.

A very high quality Bible. Very beautiful. In my opinion, the price of $110 is a great price. It is worth every penny.

This is an excellent bible and highly recommended. I’ve been transitioning away from thinlines, and I really like the overall size and thickness of this bible. The paper thickness makes turning pages easy, and the opacity makes ghosting a non-issue, even though the text is dark. Great layout, great product, great value!

I purchased this as my sit down reading bible as I liked the look of the single column layout. I must say after years of just using my wide margin Oxford KJV this is such a joy to read – especially in the NKJV. The layout and font style and size is exceptional and I find myself just naturally reading the word for pleasure rather than studying it. The goatskin cover is soft and supple and the finish is perfect. The quality of the paper is amazing for the price of this Bible. It is a very thick Bible, but fits well in the hand and is easy to hold. Ribbons are very good quality. I do not use the references or the concordance as it is not my study bible & I tend to use software for this, so can’t comment on these. But if you want an excellent quality Bible to sit down and read for long periods this is perfect.

This is my favorite single column Bible. The font is great and the size is great even though it is pretty thick. This Bible is about as close to perfect as it gets.

Might be the most beautiful Bible to look at that I own. It is easier to handle when preaching than Schuyler, a bit heavier than a Cambridge Clarion. The comfort print is excellent. Definitely worth it at the $100-120 range

This is an OUTSTANDING BIBLE!!! As a retired pastor I have had very many Bibles (as you could imagine). But this Bible is a gem. Why? First, the size of this Bible is perfect–easy to hold with one hand. 2nd, the font is crystal clear for reading (and I wear strong glasses to be able to read). 3rd, the 3 ribbons are silk on both sides. Their colors are brown, sky blue, and crimson red. Just very nice. 4th, The goatskin leather cover is a very beautiful brown. And the 5 raised hubs give this Bible a really classy look. And finally 5th, this has become my favorite Bible to just sit down and read. For me there is absolutely no negatives at all. I think this is about as close to perfection as you can get when it comes to a premium Bible. I would rate this Bible with 10 stars if I could. Nuff said.

I purchased the NKJV Comfort Print in goatskin about two months ago, and I love it! The nine-point print is actually surprisingly easy to read for my older (60+ year-old) eyes. The Bible fits well in the hand, and lays flat for easy reading and notetaking. I use it for teaching and study. Only very few minor shortfalls, in my view. One, the side-margin references are placed toward the bottom of the page, which takes some time to get used to–would be easier if they were placed next to the verses, so the reader would not have to jump from the text to practically the bottom of the page. I do like the verses and side reference verse numbers in a color contrasting the black text, although red is not my favorite for this; a blue or green might be easier on the eyes. I did order imprinting of my initials on the front cover, but I think that caused some minor damage to the cover, as a result, so I would not recommend imprinting. The concordance is excellent, and the cover is handsome and supple. Evangelical Bible’s service is outstanding; the Bible arrived very quickly, even though I ordered it on a weekend! Thank you for making this excellent Bible available! Rating: A!!

In short this is an exceptional Bible!! I have had Allan’s, Cambridge’s, Schuyler, Crossway’s, and Re-bind’s and the text block, paper, binding, ribbons, goatskin and color….. is exceptional and even more so at the price of $112.
