The Schuyler Personal Size Quentel ESV is based on the Quentel Series, which is available in the ESV, NKJV, NASB, NIV, CSB, RSV, and NLT. This edition is designed to be a ‘personal size’ companion to the regular sized Quentel since it is identical in pagination.
Aniline Calfskin reveals the life of the animal in the natural grain, exhibiting pores, healed scars, insect bites, scratches, fat wrinkles, etc. Expect perfect imperfections! This beautiful leather will show marks and stains over time and develop a rich patina with use.

I love the analine calfskin bibles, this is my 3rd. I have two in the Tuscany color and each one is slightly different. This size PSQ is the perfect size bible in my opinion. Please, Please give the NASB ‘95 the same upgrade (size & drop caps.)

I am very happy with this Bible! The Tuscany Calfskin leather looks and feels incredible. My one hesitation in purchasing this Bible was the 8.5 font – I was concerned the print would possibly be too small (I wear bifocals.) With the dark print and line spacing I’m having no problem reading it at all.
I am happy with this purchase, and I would recommend it to anyone who may be considering buying one for themselves.

This is my third Schuyler purchase, the first with the Tuscan aniline calfskin. I’m a leather aficionado. This leather has perhaps the best hand for the price I’ve ever seen. The big luxury makers (Chanel, Balenciaga, Hermès, LV, Cartier) use these materials, but here they’re less stamped and adulterated, and a fraction of the price. So happy with this. The stitching is every bit equal to the quality of the leather. I haven’t been paid, I just love terrific craftsmanship.

This is the Bible I’ve been hoping and waiting for! I love the new layout and the new size, it’s big enough to use every day for study and/or general reading but it’s still small enough to be extremely portable. The bolder font on these is absolutely incredible and makes reading a delightful experience coupled with the premium paper. I really like the Tuscany leather, I thought Siena was my favorite but now I’m definitely leaning towards the Tuscany after seeing it in person.
My only real complaint is the length of the ribbons. I know that’s a minor quip, but it’s such an easy thing to keep them longer I don’t quite understand why they are cut so short. Mine only extend about 2” past the text block, a Bible of this price and quality should not compromise on something so simple.
I hope you continue to update the layout and format of all translations as you roll out new printings. Looking forward to the CSB next!

This is the second Schyuler bible that I have purchased. The first was for my wife. The Italian leather is soft to the touch. Visibly, you can tell upon looking at it that it was carefully put together. The text font is a delight to the eyes with the verse numbers standing out in bold font (which is helpful to have when preaching). Personally, I like that this version has the book of the Bible at the top of the page instead of at the middle or bottom depending on when the previous book ended (the Stridon has odd book heading placement). Plenty of maps are in the back if that is your thing.
Overall, a quality Bible that I would recommend to anyone who is a pastor. This is suitable for at home communion visits, hospital visits, funerals, and the like. Portable, yet visible, exactly what I was looking for.

I must admit that I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing’s this new leather option. I waited far longer than I normally would so that I might properly research this option. I had some concerns regarding the wear and tear of the Tuscany leather, not to mention the “orange” color! I figured I would either love it or hate it. Now that it is in my hands I must admit, I LOVE this Bible. The cover is stiff and the color is bright but both of these issues will diminish over time.
As I compare my new PSQ to my friends older version, I can see just how unique these Bibles are. As you use the Tuscany leather it will begin to develop a specific character and charm unique to it’s owner. The patina develops around your particular usage and handling. If you are looking for a standout Bible that will reflect the study habits of it’s owner, this is a great selection.
