The Schuyler Personal Size Quentel ESV with Apocrypha is an exceptional study Bible that packs the Quentel’s outstanding cross-references, typography, and study-oriented layout into a remarkably portable format. The full-yapp black goatskin is beautiful and practical, especially for one-handed use, and the 2025 ESV text makes this a particularly timely edition. My only significant criticism is the very thin 28 GSM paper, which keeps the Bible compact but sacrifices some durability and readability. For me, though, the PSQ strikes an unusually good balance between serious study and portability…
…For anyone interested, I did a quick review video that incorporates the full size ESV w/Apocrypha and compares it to this PSQ version as well as comparing it to the size and typesetting of the Striden ESV (without Apocrypha), which if you are interested can be seen here: https://youtu.be/oC4eS9UmHvQ?si=xIBTRwI3K8CnbWYF
