I bought this personal size NIV for my wife. She loves the handy size and how comfortably it rests in her hand. It has the consistent premium quality the Quentel is known for. I have bought over a dozen Quentels as gifts and for personal use and I would rate them all at 4 or 5 stars.
My only frustration is with in inaccuracy of the color images shown in the photos posted. This dark blue of the bible we received is not even close to the brilliant blue portrayed in their images. I expect slight variations in color tone in marketing photos but his one is just too far off to be excusable. I took photos of the bible we received and neither in direct sunlight or any flash settings could I duplicate the site photo. This is my third experience with receiving a poor color match, including with purple and another blue.
So, five stars for overall binding quality, touch and feel, and readability, two stars for color (my wife still likes the blue)

I love the look and feel of this leather. It feels very similar to suede. I’m definitely going to buy this in the NLT FY as soon as the pre orders are available. I wish it was also available in the zippered addition too.
