Scott Judah Hall – Norman –
Beyond exceptional, the best practical Christmas gift that i can remember… attention to detail is exceptional from the quality of the bible itself to the translation (NASB).
For the seasoned believers (quantity and quality), i can’t explain it but what i will say, Schuyler Bibles has a way of restoring the fire to read HIS WORD
Indeed, this is a heirloom that the baton will be pass on to my precious 6 years old……. yes, he is already sharing to people that will listen…. this is his bible!

This is the nicest Holy Bible I’ve ever seen. I had a few first edition of the ESV Quentels with the 36 gsm paper and I can tell you that the newest Quentels with the 28 GSM is an improvement. The newer version is far more portable and feels nicer in the hand. This is clearly a contemporary Bible that is both thin and readable. The layout is the gold standard for Bible layouts in my opinion and although there are other premium Bibles out there that are all good, it is the layout of the Quentel that makes it the best Bible on the market.

By far the best Bible I have ever had. I’m normally a verse by verse guy but the bold verse numbers and the line spacing make it easy to locate verses while still allowing for an easy flow while reading. The red verse numbers in the cross reference area clearly delineate references so they don’t appear cluttered. The binding and attention to detail is fantastic. This Bible has quickly replaced my Lockman which I have used for years. Can’t say enough good things about it. They are pricy but you get what you pay for. Instead of buying a cheap Bible every few years, I would suggest that you purchase one of these. They will last you a lifetime.

I love this Bible! I would consider this Bible my “the One”. The font size is nice and big, the layout is beautiful, and it is in my favorite translation – NASB. One of my favorite parts of the Quentel is the chart in the back of all the kings of Judah and Israel. Though it may not be an essential part of my Bible, it is well-utilized. I also had some concern and hesitation about the thinness of the paper but once I started using it, no issues at all with opacity and readability. The line-matching helps a lot, of course. This Bible is also very portable; excellent for taking along with me in my backpack or bag.

I am updating my review. This Bible definitely gets 5 stars! Perfection!

I received my Bible yesterday. The Bible is the imperial blue NASB. It’s beautiful! The quality is apparent right out of the box. The ghosting is subtle yet still noticeable. I don’t feel that, for a Bible of this reputation and price, there should be any ghosting. Hence the reason for 4-5 stars. Overall, a very nice Bible that is heirloom quality.

In the Bible, we find extensive instructions on how the Holy objects and dwelling places of the Lord (the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, the Temples, etc…) are to be constructed. The instructions are often detailed and meticulous. The types of fabrics, the colors, the measurements; it’s all spelled out. And while we have no written instructions from God on how a bible should be constructed, we can conclude at least one thing from scripture: materials matter to Him. For this reason, absent of exact instructions, I wanted a Bible that was made using the finest materials I could afford so that the most well-made and beautiful book in my home was my Bible. I believe this helps me feel a little bit of the glory of the Lord and his creation in my hands every time I read his divinely inspired word.
I’ve had several premium bibles in an attempt to find one that’s just right and I’ve concluded that the Schuyler Quentel is the closest I’ll ever get to a perfect bible. And for me, this NASB thintel is best in breed.
The blue cover and art gilt are perfect. Unique, but understated.
The Goatskin cover is beautiful to hold, but feels durable enough to last a lifetime.
The paper is wonderful to the touch.
The font size and print make reading effortless.
So if you’re browsing this site questioning the high price of the Bible’s here, I’d advise you to think about how much money you may have spent over the years on nicer clothes; nicer jewelry; nicer drapes; even better tasting food. And then ask yourself – why not treat your Bible with the same care of choice? Buy one you will love and it will enhance your time in the word. It’s worth it, I promise.

I received my new Schuyler NASB Quentel Imperial Blue last week. I have owned many bibles over the years. This, however, is only my second high-quality bible, and my first Schuyler. The other is a Cambridge NASB I purchased in the 1990s.
I am totally blown away by the quality and detail of this Bible. The line matching along with font size and type make it extremely easy to read. The paper quality is superb, and I have yet to have any type of glare that I have experience with other Bibles. I can sit reading for long periods of time without having to strain my eyes. I was worried that I would not like the references at the bottom of the page. However, I find that it is easier and quicker for me to locate the verse references than in my old center column reference Bible. Even though it is larger than most of my Bibles, it is still small enough to carry with me.
The craftsmanship of the Bible is simply outstanding. It is obvious that the binding, leather and switching creates a product that will outlive me. You did an amazing job Schuyler!

Today i received my Schuyler NASB Quentel Imperial Blue. I am really glad I purchased this Bible. The work detail on this Bible is above my expectations. This bible will last for generations to come. If they come out with a NASB in purple I will be getting one for my wife.

Plush, luxurious, sumptuous, beautiful. Those are just some of the adjectives which come to mind when I think of this bible. With the thinline Quentel NASB Schuyler has produced a nearly perfect bible. The type is gorgeous and can be read for hours without fatigue. The goatskin cover is easily the most creamy, buttery of any bible I own. A pure pleasure to hold in one’s hands. All-in-all I could not be more pleased. Truly a bible to pass along to future generations.

I have been wanting one of these Thinline blue Quentels for some time, and happened upon one still in the original package being offered on *****, so I bought it. And I’ve got to say that this is simply put the most gorgeous rendition of a NASB bible that I’ve ever seen. The pictures don’t do it justice, the blue goatskin is evenly grained and a very rich dark blue. The text block is very well done, and the calfskin lining is luxurious. You guys at Schuyler and Evangelicalbible.com continue to excel in the Bibles you are making and selling. This blue Quentel has quickly become my favorite bible ever.

This has been my “goto” bible since I first got it. It is my favorite Schuyler and above the Longprimer as well. The cover is actually “floppier” than my LP, the text is large and clear and the pages are the beautiful cream that is so easy on the eyes. If this came in a verse by verse I’d be in Heaven! Ordered a second one -same color-to have when I wear this out. Truly a God-send. Thanks Schuyler!

Absolutely terrific in all respects. The Bible is beautiful, wonderful paper and the text is glorious. This is my first high-end Bible and I love it. Also my first order from EB here and it was great from start to finish with incredibly fast shipping. Thank you.

One word: stunning. This Bible is absolutely stunning. The color, the gilting, the goatskin cover, the paper, and the font. Top to bottom, it is an absolutely stunning Bible. Just a shear joy to hold and to read.
I have to add also, love ordering from EB. This is my 4th purchase from EB and they are great: fast, responsive, and customer oriented.

I have been looking for a Bible that is high-quality, a more literal translation, and large enough print to last a lifetime. I am also a fan of blue Bibles. So when I saw this Bible, especially now that it is thinner, It seemed like a good choice. The goatskin leather is gorgeous to look at and supple without feeling fragile. The art gilt is tastefully done. The gold is not too bright and not too yellow. The blue underneath shines through quite well. And of course, this format makes everything more legible. The paper is thinner, but not too thin. You see some bleed through but it might because the pages are still new. Over time they won’t stick together as readily. The overall dimensions mean that you can put a half sheet of a4 or 8.5×11 in there and still have room to spare. A joy to read God’s word.

All five star reviews throughout all the color choices. We don’t get to read the black and tan reviews since that color choice sold out in a few days! I guess we can assume all five star reviews there.
I can’t really add to the thoughts here in the reviews if you read through the color choices. Everyone is happy with their choice, so there’s no surprises there. By now everyone has their favorite (s). I gather from these reviews that there are still a few people who are first time buyers of a Schuyler. Boy, have THOSE folks come to the party at Schuyler’s finest hour, or what? I should probably stop right here.
I would except I would like to echo another’s warning to get your favorite color while you can. And for those thinking that you will get one on the secondary market for cheaper, you will be waiting until people with no heirs pass away. I have seen ONE for sale, and it went for more than the current new price.
This is the finest NASB Reader on the market now, and for the 1995 NASB version, forever, unless management changes course, due to ongoing delay with Lockman’s revision effort.
I will go further and say that THIS is absolutely the best ever, in any version, of the so called “Reader” style. One hopes that there will be other versions, but as of now, no plans are public.

This bible is straight . The best thinline on the market. The paper is superior and the print is simply the best print I have in all my bibles.

Been eyeing a Schuyler Bible for my wife who has been long over due for a slimmer Bible in a literal translation. The Thinline Quentel fit the bill perfectly!! If you’re familiar at all with the Single column Heirloom Legacy, the thinline Quentel is pretty much the same profile and thickness. I noticed right away that the leather on the Schuyler seems more supple to the touch and unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think the Legacy has the leather inner lining like the Schuyler which is a nice touch to give it that much more flexibility. I got her the Imperial blue and she really loves it, especially with the blue under gold art gilt edging. “It’s beautiful” I believe were her exact words as she unboxed it. The pages are super smooth and the text just pops off the page. Though there seems to be more bleed through on the empty spaces of the page—due in part to the fact that the text is very clear, almost bold—because of the line matching it doesn’t take away from reading the text easily. Very happy with the quality and craftsmanship. So much so I had to get myself one.

It’s really nice to have a thinner Bible of this quality. Allen does a superb job in there own fashion. But the Quentel has been long overdue in competing in this market not just with Allen, but with Cambridge as well. They never had to compete with quality. That was always there. But now they can compete fully with quality and size. Move over Allen and Cambridge…. The competition has just got a little stiffer!!!
I was a little concerned with the thinner paper that the bleed-threw would bother me. But to my surprise The paper feels almost the same as the 36gm paper. And extremely little bleed-threw. Much less then the Allen and Cambridge. I am not knocking either. I am a proud owner of both. Just stating the facts. Beautifully made!! Goatskin is soft and the print crisp and almost bold in type. For my aging eyes that is a plus plus!! You won’t regret getting this Bible if you do. Really Really hoping they do the ESV large print like this as well. I will be one of the 1st to sign up!!
