Evangelical bibles have now got all my . Was it worth the money, yes most definitely. I am going to start this review with my first bible from evangelical bibles. My first bible is an NIV from Cambridge bibles, I am not sure of style, other than it is a single column bible. It is black, my favorite color for any bible. I give this Cambridge bible 5 stars as it is almost 20 years old and has held up to a lot of bible studies. It is a trooper.
My next purchase was an R L Allen, Anglicized Edition, personal sized, it is brown, and I would give it 5 stars also, you can’t go wrong with an Allen. It is around 14 years old, and believe me, used, but not a single issue. I like the brown, but it’s not black.
My 3rd bible, is a black (go figure), Schuyler ESV Quental, this is one of my favorites, wait they are all my favorites. I will add another 5 stars,(quality, quality, quality). This bible is 8 years old.
Now the Schuylers, I love so much that I bought another one. This bible is a Canterbury KJV, everyone should have a KJV. A beautiful bible, now 3 years old, love it, it matches pretty well with the Scuyler ESV Quentel, I’ll bet you can’t guess the color, your right black. Another 5 stars on this one.
And now for my newest addition, the Schuyler NASB Stridon, another beautiful single column like the Cambridge, love the layout. This is the only bible that gets 4 stars, because of the Philippines 5, that bothers me one , fire the proof reader. Although the quality and beauty of this bible are so premium, I will overlook this minor ouch. Oh and don’t worry it is black, I’m just not a colorful person I guess. I like the brown, Allen, but as I said before it’s not black
The Scuylers are all goat skin, the R L Allen is highland goat skin, and my first, the Cambridge is calf skin (that’s held up well). I like premium bible’s I compare the translations as I study the bible, The Schuylers man, what a fabulous run they are. Such a joy. All Evangelical.com bible’s are filled with the blessings of GOD, and in a wonderful package. God bless us. I hope this helps .

Received my Schuyler Stridon NASB 2020, Black Goatskin Bible today and it is indeed beautiful and will receive a lot of use.

The only thing I do not like about is that it does not start all of the books of the Bible on a new page. I did not realize this, or I may not have purchased.

I had watched several reviews and I do not remember seeing this. Most of us have a pet peeve or two and this is one of mine. I am sure I could return it, but other than that, the Bible is a work of art.

The cover inside and out is wonderful. The red under gold is rich and vivid. The ribbons are substantial and a good length. It feels good in my hands.
