Simply Beautiful! Love everything about this Bible. Text is easy to read. Feel in the hand is great! Love this color blue as well. Wish more versions had this color and blue art gilt.

I really like this Bible overall. I ordered the navy blue edition and I love the color scheme, layout and the beautiful ribbons. I do recommend this Bible. However the Bible I received did have some imperfections. There are three abrasions in the goatskin, one on the front cover and two in the back. I understand that this is a possibility with goatskin covers, but the the unfortunate part is the placement of these is right where my fingers lay when I hold the Bible. It causes a bit of a distraction. Hopefully they’ll soften with time or I’ll get used to it. Also, the corner work isn’t the greatest. There is no symmetry in the four corners and the goatskin on one of the corners is a bit frayed. And lastly, there is some bleeding on the last page of the Bible from the art guilding which also causes a bit of distraction while reading. Overall I like the Bible and I’m going to keep it and try to live with it, but quality control seems to be an issue with most Bibles these days. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect Bible for me and the biggest issue I’ve come across is quality control. It seems we just don’t pay attention to the details like we once did. When buying a premium or an heirloom quality product I would prefer to spend a few dollars more for a Bible with great attention to detail. Perhaps there is a market for this sort of thing? If the idea is to buy a Bible that is going to last for years I would happily pay more for a Bible free from imperfection and defects.

I have been looking for the perfect size Bible with readable print and cross reference. I regretted not buying the original omega that came out a few years back. Now holding one with its beautiful craftsmanship I am amazed of how great this Bible is. To own a blue Bible is a blessing especially from a reliable translation. This is the perfect Bible ever created and I am beyond blessed to have it in my life and pass down to my future children!

My favorite bible. Wow! If u want an heirloom bible this is it. Printed in the Netherlands. Quality is superb. Thank You evangelical bible! U r my go to for my bibles now!!! Merry Christmas!

This bible, as others have previously and rightfully noted, is amazing!
The leather is indeed supple, but firm enough. I actually prefer a stiffer cover, as compared to other bibles. My pastor has an heirloom, I believe, and it’s more soft than smooth. With the omega 80th, you get a pebbled, smooth supple cover more than a super soft leather. The raised hubs are sturdy and exceptional.
The paper is indeed thin, but it feels smooth and good to the touch. It’s creamy, velvety, and moon-white, if you can imagine that. It’s definitely better quality than the papier-mâché kind of paper you get with cheaper bibles. The font size is way bigger than I had expected. I looked at a size chart, and this font is bigger than seemingly indicated and far easier to read than some other cheaper Crossway bibles. The note paper in the back isn’t glossy, which will help for inscribing. The art gilding is beautiful and light. It doesn’t distract you from your reading, but does add a bit of flair. The ribbons are nice and thick. You get two of them.
The packaging is nice and minimal. It comes in a hardcover box, with a black, little velvet sleeve which accents the bible, and a note from the president of Crossway.
One minor thing, however, is the fact that there is a tiny, little indent in the leather on the front of the bible. For me, It’s nothing really to complain about, but I could see how others would be a little concerned. It’s minimal and not really noticeable. That’s pretty my only complaint, and it’s not really that much of a complaint.
Otherwise, this bible is a work of art and will be my everyday bible!

I have finally found my lovey bible. It is indeed “the one.” I love everything about it — gorgeous and high quality inside and out, the most beautiful presentation of God’s Word. Thank you, Evangelical Bibles, for making this available.

My favorite part of my day is my quiet time with my Lord, when I can slow down to read and study the Bible. I find it interesting and enlightening to read and study from different translations of the Bible, and I usually gravitate to the NLT and CSB translations. However, I have recently fallen in love with the ESV translation, thanks to the ESV Omega Thinline Reference Bible from Crossway!

The 80th Anniversary Edition of the Omega is not only a beautiful Bible, but it also is a Bible that will last to be passed down to the next generation. When I opened the box and lifted out the Bible, I was amazed by how soft and supple the goatskin leather was, while still being sturdy. I chose to purchase the ocean blue goatskin, and the shade of blue was classy and added to the charm of the Bible. I love how flexible and “floppy” the cover is, due to the goatskin cover being lined with calfskin. I have never felt or held a book with such a well-constructed cover!

The inside cover is edge lined, and the corners appear sturdy. The pages have blue under gold art gilding, meaning that the sides of the pages appear to be gold when I hold the Bible upright, and then blue when I open it up. The spine has four raised hubs with the words, “Holy Bible”, “ESV”, “English Standard Version”, and “Crossway” stamped in an elegant gold color.

While the cover of this Bible impressed me, it is what is inside the Bible that really counts! When I began to page through the Omega, I was not disappointed. The Bible is printed a very readable 10 point font, in a double column format. The paper feels high quality and smooth. Along with the precious Word of God, this Bible also includes a concordance and cross references. I find these features very helpful when studying. The cross references are printed in a much smaller font at the bottom of each page, but that is not an issue for me. The Omega also has eight maps and four pieces of blank paper in the back of the Bible. It also has two silky navy blue ribbons to keep your place as you read.

I appreciate the size and layout because it is comfortable to hold in my hand, and it is a light, thinline Bible. The Bible lays open in my lap or on the table, making reading and studying for long period of time easy. It has a Smyth-sewn binding, and it is printed and bound by Jongbloed in the Netherlands.

If you are in the market for a premium Bible that will last a lifetime, in a readable and literal translation, I highly recommend the Crossway ESV Omega Thinline Reference Bible, 80th Edition. It is an investment that you will not regret. I spend time in this Bible daily, and I plan to continue doing so in the future!

Holy Cow! Crossways has been listening. I had bought the black 80th anniversary omega before other colors came out and I thought it was going to be “the one”, I was sorely mistaken. The hinge was hard as a brick, the ribbons were something that should have been on a 10 dollar bible not at this price point. I gave it away I didn’t even want payment for it. That brings me to this ocean blue version. I decided to give the omega another try since I had been reading about improvements and since blue is one of my top bible colors I went ahead and snagged one. Wow what an amazing bible! This is what it should have been in the beginning. This bible is perfect. Huge improvements in the hinge, the ribbons are up to par, and my biggest was the liner was much improved. Highly recommended getting while they are still available. As always the customer service is top notch

An amazing Bible. It was given to me as a gift. The Omega sets the standard for a thinline Bible, and the blue matches my Imperial Blue Quentel. Although they are different designs, they go together well. What a well made Bible! I now see why the first order sold out so quickly.

I ordered this Bible a while back and I like it. It’s good to have. It might feel uncomfortable sometimes to hold it with my hands, since the size is a little small for my hands. But I love it because of the design and quality. It would be cool to see if they made this 80th anniversary edition in green and orange. Or perhaps add the colors in future editions. I would say the only downside is that the cross references are too small too read, but at least it includes them.
