Finally my dreams have come true! I’ve been waiting for Schuyler to make a NIV personal-sized Bible with a zipper for the longest time and this is it. When I got the package in the mail today and opened it up, I held the Bible and said, “Perfect, perfect, perfect!”. Zippered Bibles are ideal for taking with you anywhere in your backpack, car, or any other travels without the pages getting creased, torn, or wrinkled. Plus, you can keep your notes in the Bible without them falling out. The sizing of this compact Bible is right on the mark and I like how the spine lays flat even with the zipper. I was so excited waiting to receive this that I ordered the upgraded shipping so it would be here sooner. I live in Virginia where these ship from and we are told to have the worst mail delivery in the country. Well the upgraded shipping did not help. It went to Memphis Tenn. The next day it went to Dulles Airport which is further than Richmond where it was originally shipped. It ended up being delivered that day just before it got dark.
So Glad to receive this Impressive in every way Bible. As others have said this most likely will not be my only Schuyler Bible. Very much looking forward to picking this up several times a day. And is perfect to take on trips. And is very readable. The maps in the back are well done too.

Was hesitant to choose the zipper version over the regular. Very glad I chose this one! Perfect size bible and I don’t need to buy a cover – the zipper is great. I love that it isn’t floppy like other premium bibles. It’s so nice to hold and read!

I recently purchased this Bible for a student of mine. After 6 years of mentoring this young man I wanted to send him off to college with a beautiful example of craftmanship. The Schuyler Personal sized Quentel NIV, black calfskin Bible did not disappoint! This little Bible is a true work of art. The calfskin has a dark cloudy grain that makes it look like a relic from a bygone era. After my student opened the Bible we both sat there admiring the perfection of this Bible. One of my favorite details is the cross on front . Unlike the other Schuyler Bibles the cross has a sharp silver gilding. It literally jumps off the front cover of this Bible. Needless to say, its just another amazing piece of art from Evangelical Bible. If you want a Bible that is redefining quality, this is the Bible for you.
