This bible is a work of art. Very happy with the size of the bible, font size, coloring on the pages, and everything about it.

I love the smaller size of this PSQ (as opposed to the updated larger size of the NLT and ESV PSQs). I don’t like all of the letters cluttering the text pointing to cross references in Schuyler’s NIV—looks too busy and is distracting. I wish ornamental drop caps were included. I really appreciate the words of Christ in red ink. The Desert Camel calfskin cover is beautiful. This copy’s leather isn’t too wrinkled like my Marbled Sapphire NKJV Stridon is. I prefer the smoother and more taut quality of this piece of leather covering this NIV.
I wound up returning this bible because two of the four corners were poorly stitched and missing small pieces of leather. For such an expensive bible these flaws were glaring and unacceptable. Additionally, the Schuyler logo on the spine of this bible wasn’t centered. I wish I was able to return without paying the restocking fee but Evangelical Bible considers these flaws typical of handmade bibles. Only if the structural integrity of the bible was compromised would they accept a return without necessitating a restocking fee from the customer.
I may gamble again in the future and order another copy of this model in the hopes that what is sent will be more flawless. But poor corner work and a less texturally pleasing piece of leather (more rough, more wrinkled) are quite common in Schuyler bibles, unfortunately. Still, I love their product and remain a fan because when Schuyler gets it right, they really get it right.

I am a long time lover of the Pitt Minion, but the small font is increasingly a problem . I could not believe the box size when this arrived today. It looked Pitt Minion sized! But with a larger font! If you love small, hand sized bibles, take at look at this one before they redesign it like the ESV. (Don’t misunderstand me, the redesigned PSQ is beautiful. I own the ESV one. (It is larger).
