I will be honest I sure did pay ALOT for this Bible and my main concern was the 28gsm paper. Unfortunately the paper is TERRIBLE for highlighting even with a careful micron pigma yellow pen or even Mr pen gel Bible highlighters. I am a person who studies the Bible reads and highlights underlines etc, If you are that person this Bible will not work out for you the only good thing is the goatskin cover and construction of course but the paper just doesn’t work for me I will most likely end up gifting it to someone who will treasure it and use it more than me.Just a warning before you spend close to $230 on a Bible you may not use for studying or daily use. Unless you don’t highlight or underline in your bibles.

I just received this regular yapp Quentel in the NASB-95 today and as expected, it seems wonderful in every way. I’m saving this one for a gift, so I only briefly flipped through it and gave it a look-over. The black goatskin is superb; very flexible but not flimsy, and the red calfskin liner is absolutely gorgeous along with the rich red ribbons, lovely accents to the black cover. The print on the several pages I looked at seems dark enough (although not very bold) and the 11-pt font size is nice. The gilding is beautiful. The leather has a mild very pleasant premium leather scent. I didn’t want to put this lovely Bible back in its box, but I did. (I already have one in Firebrick red that I’m reading through this year.)

This is the wonderful and literally accurate NASB-1995 edition which will be replaced by the revised 2020 in any new typesettings. (I personally much prefer the 1995.) I asked, but Schuyler isn’t saying yet if there will be any additional printings of the NASB-95 Quentel or not, so if you treasure the 1995 NASB, now might be the time to get one. And they’re on sale.

Schuyler did tell me they should have more NASB-95 PSQs later this year and I’ll probably grab one of those when they are back in stock.

This is a beautiful Bible in a trusted translation. Thank you, Schuyler, for your treatment of God’s word.

I absolutely love my Schuyler NASB Quentel. The craftsmanship and diligence in to producing a high quality bible is evident from the cover to the very last map. What kept me, however, from giving this particular bible 5 stars was that, in my copy, there were very noticeable variations in the ink, specifically in the book of Exodus. The ink is bolder on certain pages which also gives a slightly “blurred” appearance. It is still very readable, but I think at $205 USD, this should not be. I’ve had bibles of similar quality and lower retail prices that did not have this issue.

All in all, though, this is one of my favorite bibles! Ink and cosmetic features will sometimes fall short, but the inspired word of God endures forever! Thank you, EV, for such an amazing product!

I’ve had my Quentel NASB now 6 months, Absolutely love these premium bibles! Everything from fit to finish has been great! The print has been great through out everything was so good I purchased one in purple for my wife,I “HIGHLY” recommend this bible to anyone looking for a premium bible, you won’t be disappointed! Great job evangelical bible

  7. Murray Reams

Absolutely exquisite. Cant say enough about this Bible. Of course, quality is world-class bar none. I truly believe this is the finest Bible in print. I have been studying and teaching the Bible for 30+ years. After switching to NASB a few years ago I have been on the hunt for the perfect Bible in that translation. Tried wide margin–excellent but too bulky for me to be portable. I have been reading Personal size for the last year or so and love it but space for notes is a challenge. The regular size Quentel is exactly right. I got the full yapp and love it. God bless the people at EB. They have helped me with exchanges and their shipping is lightning fast. Highly, highly recommend! Worth every penny.
