Cambridge has created an entirely new setting of the English Standard Version that will be a delight to read and to handle.
The Cambridge Clarion Reference Bible presents the text in a single column, and places the cross-references in the outer margin, giving the page a very well laid out appearance. The font size is just under 9 point with generous line spacing. It is typeset in Lexicon No.1, a modern digital font which has many of the characteristics usually associated with traditional Bible typefaces – in particular, a degree of readability more usually associated with much larger type. The Bible has 15 colour maps and a concordance. There are three ribbons to keep the place in different parts of the Bible.
The Clarion edition is the only ESV personal size reference Bible with a single-column paragraph format. This is a Bible of the very highest quality, printed on India paper with art-gilt edges, Smyth-sewn for flexibility and endurance, and bound in dark green goatskin leather, edge-lined and with full leather linings for extra suppleness.

This is my first “premium” Bible and I absolutely love it. The green leather is beautiful, the layout is perfect for me, and the creamy color of the page draws me in. I don’t even remember how I used to get by without three ribbon markers.
I also have ideas ruining around my head of the presence of God within the tabernacle made of goatskin, it only makes sense that we should wrap our Bibles in goatskin.
